Peter joined Wannops in 2013 as the partner responsible for the firm’s Property Litigation Team. Peter is a specialist in all areas of property related dispute resolution, with over 30 years of experience with large south coast law firms. That experience extends to landlord and tenant disputes of all descriptions (tenant default, possession claims, forfeiture, commercial rent recovery, dilapidations claims, breach of covenant), lease renewals, rent reviews, restrictive covenants, easements, rights of way, wayleave disputes, trespass, boundary disputes, adverse possession claims and party wall disputes. Peter also has expertise in handling complex construction claims, including adjudications.
Peter often acts as an advocate in the County Courts and is renowned for adopting an analytical approach to problem solving for clients. He has found this useful in developing his experience in methods of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) such as mediations and arbitrations. He is recognised by his clients as having a realistic approach and a pragmatic style to dispute resolution generally.
